Your senior pictures session is coming up and you might be wondering how you can get the best images. Obviously I will help you get some great shots at your session. But you might have some questions about what to wear and posing that you might want answered before your session day.
Rather than have me try to reinvent the wheel and write a long and boring blog post about this subject. I thought it would be more helpful to include some guides that already exist. Below you will see some YouTube videos that I think will be helpful to get you ready for your senior session.

The best tip I can give about what you should wear to your session is to wear what best defines you and wear what you are most comfortable in. You will want a few different outfits to change in to during your session so we can have a nice variety of pictures for you to choose from.

Posing for you senior pictures is not very difficult. I can help you get some great poses during your senior portrait session so you don’t need to worry too much about it. However, it is helpful for you to have a general idea of the poses we will be doing during your upcoming senior session.

Senior Pictures Location Ideas
Choosing a good location is often what sets your senior pictures apart from others in the yearbook. You want to choose a location that is important to you and one that fits your personality and your interests. For example, if you play music a stage might be a good place for a photo or two, if you play sports then the field or track might be a good place you, if you are a gamer then a comic shop or games store would be an awesome spot. This is where your creativity and personality will shine!
The great thing about senior sessions is they allow us plenty of time to move around to a few different locations. I do many of my senior sessions in beautiful Door County. We are lucky to have so many beautiful landscapes here that are perfect as a backdrop for your senior photos. Through my landscape photography I have explored much of Door County and found many beautiful places that are good or adding a scenic value to your images.
