Your high school senior year is approaching and you’re going to need some photos! I would love to help you get some awesome senior photos for the yearbook and to share with your friends and family.
I am based in Northeast Wisconsin which would be a great place for the setting of your photos. My home area is Door County but I love to go all over to make cool photos. With all of the beaches, waterfront, scenic parks, farmland, and more, we have lots of great options for locations.
You probably have a couple of questions about how my senior photos sessions work. I have answered some of them below. One thing to remember is that this is your senior session. That means you get to customize it however you want in ways that will fit your interests and personality. I would love to hear your ideas too!
About Your Senior Session
My standard senior photos session is two hours long. We can stay at one location the entire time, or we can go to as many locations as you want! If we spend 20-30 minutes at each location so that will give us time for up to four locations per session! You can also have as many outfit changes as we can fit during the session time.
Two hours is the perfect amount of time for a senior session. The standard session will give your the full senior session experience. There’s enough time to visit a few locations, have a couple of outfit changes, and lots of poses for you to choose from when the photos are finished. Shorter sessions will feel a little too rushed. With two hours you’ll be able to relax, and we will take our time to really get some cool photos.
We’ll meet at your chosen time, date, and first location. Then we’ll spend a few minutes going through basic posing and things like that (Don’t stress about posing, it’s super easy! And I’ll help you throughout the session). Then we’ll get started!
During the session, we’ll have lots of time to spend at multiple locations. There will be time for outfit changes too! A two hour session will allow for three or four different outfits. Usually, I recommend a new outfit for each location we visit.
Travel time in Door County, Green Bay Metro, and northern Kewaunee County is also included. Other locations may have a small travel fee.
Though I highly suggest the full experience of a standard senior session, If you would like a shorter session that’s totally fine too! I have a mini session available. This session is 30 minutes long. It’s perfect for one location just to get a nice shot or two for your yearbook picture.
Before Your Session
Before your session, we’ll have to set up a plan for your photos. I’ll send a simple questionnaire for you to fill out that will help me get an idea for how I can help you get some great photos. We’ll get a date and meeting time scheduled. Then we’ll plan out some locations. If you don’t have any locations in mind, don’t worry! I know lots of great spots for photos and would be happy to suggest some for you!
I’d love to hear your ideas for your session too! This is your senior session and I want your photos to reflect your ideas and your personality.
After your session, I will go through your photos and cull out the blurry ones and the ones that didn’t turn out for whatever reason.
About 1-2 weeks after your session, I will deliver your final images through your own personalized online gallery.
Along with your image downloads, you will receive a print release that will allow you to have your photos printed wherever.
Larger prints require extra care in order to guarantee the best possible print. So I highly recommend ordering big prints through your online gallery. If a print is going up on a wall, I want the print to be perfect. Many big box print labs are cheap, and they differ in paper choice, color accuracy, sharpness, photo brightness, and overall quality. I work closely with the same professional printing lab partners I use for my fine art landscape prints and together we ensure you get the perfect prints.
