Holly and Brian had a perfect day, a perfect venue, and a great group of people gathered to celebrate their love.

Holly and Brian chose a wonderful place for their celebration too! Pioneer Creek Farm in Lomira, Wisconsin just outside of Fond du Lac is such a beautiful venue. The barn was lavish and the grounds were such a stunning backdrop for this beautiful wedding. My landscape photography roots had me beaming when I showed up and saw this wonderful property.

The ceremony was lovely. It took place under a giant tree that provided much appreciated shade for the couple and their guests. A friend of the couple did a great job serving as officiant with the power vested in her “by the internet.”

Oh! And the food was amazing too! It was BBQ that was cooking all day over hot coals. They had everything from mac and cheese top brisket to corn bread. It was delicious and had the couple and guests fueled up for the dance floor.

The dancing went late in to the night. The nights festivities were kept going in part with the music chosen personally by the groom. It was a great mix of classic pop and new hits. The dance floor was hopping! Then the fog machine started and the atmosphere was beautiful as the DJ lights and my speed lights reacted with the smoke.

Here are some of the highlights of the day!
