What You Get
There are a lot of options out there for wedding photographers. If you are comparing photographers, it’s important to consider things other than prices in order to get an apples-to-apples overview. Some things are worth paying for, and with wedding photography, you truly get what you pay for.
Here are just a few reasons why you might not want to skimp on your wedding photography.
REAL Wedding Experience
Wedding days can be chaotic, and a photographer needs to be ready for anything and know how to anticipate moments. I won’t be using your wedding day to “figure it out.” I already know!
Many inexperienced photographers will not understand how to shoot in challenging lighting situations. I have studied lighting and understand how it works. I know how to use a great sunset and also how to capture epic off-camera flash photos.
Whether we are shooting in beautiful natural light outside or using flash in a dark reception hall, you don’t have to worry about photos not turning out. I know how to shoot in any kind of lighting situation.
Keeping Your Photos Safe
I have a foolproof backup system to keep your photos safe for years to come. Computer crashes, accidentally deleted photos, and things like that are not going to cause your photos to be lost forever. Within hours of your wedding, I have about 3-5 copies of every photo from your wedding saved on various hard drives.
I’ve even had couples reach out to me five years after their wedding because they lost their photos. Because of my backup system, I was able to provide them with each and every one of their photos.
What happens if something goes terribly wrong? That’s not something we expect or even want to think about, but it’s important to be prepared. That’s why I am fully insured. A cheaper photographer most likely will not be covered in the case of an accident, lost photos, etc.
I want my clients to have the highest quality photos possible. That is why I use the highest-quality cameras and lenses. Nothing but the best! You can actually see my favorite lenses in this blog post!
Gear does matter. A cheap photographer will bring cheap gear to your wedding. Cameras that are slow to focus WILL miss important moments and lenses that are not good in low light will result in lower quality images.
You’re Going To Look Great In Your Photos
Many couples may feel awkward in front of the camera. That’s totally normal! The good thing for you is that I know how to direct and pose couples in a natural way.
I have an easy posing system to help you look your best in front of the camera. It is designed with easy-to-remember tips that will bring out natural interactions.
If you look through the photos on my website or Instagram, I think you would agree that no one looks awkward. All the photos are of REAL people on their REAL wedding day, not paid models at styled shoots.
